Accomplishments for 2023
- Replaced or reinstalled twenty-four street signs (stop, speed, street name, and directional signs)
- Professionally completed two pavement repair projects (Quiver Street and Cheyenne Street)
- Laid seven yards of Class II Road Base on Choctaw for road backing
- Professionally completed weed abatement on all sixteen miles of RRCSD roads
- Professionally cleared tree hazards on thirteen of RRCSD’s twenty-six roads
- Passed a resolution declaring that bids shall be published in trade journals in lieu of the local newspaper
- Posted and evaluated the street striping contract via competitive bid process
- Awarded the striping contract to professionally stripe RRCSD’s twenty-six streets/16 miles
- Advertised for a company to complete a Pavement Condition Index
- Awarded AMS the contract to inspect our roads (Pavement Condition Index)
- Assessment completed by AMS
- Assessment completed of RRCSD’s roads for fire safety by Copper Fire
- Completed four delinquent audits and last year’s audit is currently in process and on time
- Completed requested information from State Controller’s Office regarding tax information
- Recruited and seated new Board members to maintain a five-member Board of Director’s panel
- Revised the agenda format for Board meetings
- Acquired a zoom account and provided zoom for Board meetings
- Acquired an insurance policy (SDRMA) as required
- Established and maintained a website
- Installed a virtual phone system
- Provided training on Sexual Harassment, Ethics, and the Brown Act
