Minutes for February 2023 – special
Special Meeting Called to order at 6:05pm by Chris Doran
Present at Meeting:

Yearly Audit
- Paperwork needs to be submitted to Lary Baine
- Chris made a motion to ask Gretchen if she can handle paperwork that needs to be gathered up and sent to Larry Bain for audits
- John seconded the motion
- All vote in favor 3/0
Sinclair payments
- Sinclair will need up to$8000 for installing stop signs and fixing potholes
- Chris made a motion to approve up to $8000 to pay Sinclair
- John seconded the motion
- All vote in favor 3/0
Marty DeMartini and Board Vacancy
- Marty DeMartini has applied to fill one of the vacant Board seats
- Chris made a motion to nominate Marty to fill the vacancy
- John seconded the motion
- All vote in favor 3/0
- Marty will be sworn in at the March Meeting
Tree on Hoko
- Chris will contact Nates Tree Service about removing downed tree on Hoko Ct.
Request from State Controller asking about employees
- Chris will send in reply that Rocky Road no longer has employees
Audio USB Interface to connect Black Creek PA System to Zoom Meetings
- Adam recommends purchasing an Audio Interface to use the PA system for Zoom Meetings
- The device can be used for both HOA and Rocky Road meetings
- Chris made a motion to authorize up to $150 to purchase the device
- John seconded the motion
- All vote in favor 3/0
Copper Fire District
- Chris has been in contact with Scott Hertzog about having the Copper Fire Department assess our roadways for fire safety
Umpqua Bank and interest rates
- Chris has been in contact with Umpqua Bank about getting better interest rates for Rocky Road accounts
A culvert on Choctaw and Chief need to be cleaned out and repaired
- John has been in contact with the owners
Completed Business
- A downed tree on Acorn has been removed
- A white car that was abandoned on the roadside has been removed
- A member who was building a concrete-block wall on Rocky Road Easement has removed the wall at the request of Rocky Road
